Itinerary

Day 1Viseu - Full Day

  • Morning: Explore the historic center of Viseu, including Rossio, Porta do Soar, the Cathedral, the Misericórdia Church, the Grão Vasco National Museum, the Porta dos Cavaleiros and the Viseu Funicular.
  • Afternoon: Enjoy lunch at the Muralha da Sé Restaurant, followed by a visit to Solar dos Vinhos do Dão for an indoor tour and wine tasting.
  • Night: Stay in Viseu.

Day 2Dão Wine Route

  • Morning: Visit to Quinta do Cruzeiro (Julia Kemper Wines) for a guided tour and wine tasting. Explore the gardens of the Palácio dos Condes de Anadia, with an optional visit inside.
  • Afternoon: Lunch at the Paço dos Cunhas Restaurant, followed by visits and wine tastings at Soito Wines and Casa de Santar.
  • Evening: Check-in and relaxation at the Grande Hotel das Caldas da Felgueira, with time to enjoy the hotel’s facilities.

Day 3Bairrada Wine Route

  • Morning: Visit to Aliança Underground Museum for a guided tour and wine tasting. Continue to Adega Luís Pato for another wine tasting experience.
  • Afternoon: Lunch at Quinta do Encontro, followed by a visit to the Solar de São Domingos cellars for a sparkling wine tasting. End the day with a visit to the gardens and interior of the Bussaco Palace, including a coffee break in the palace bar.
  • Night: Stay overnight in Luso.

Day 4Coimbra - Full Day

  • Morning: Visit the Monastery of Santa Clara-a-Nova, followed by a visit to Portugal dos Pequenitos. Explore the romantic story of Pedro and Inês at Quinta das Lágrimas.
  • Afternoon: Lunch at Solar do Bacalhau, then visit the University of Coimbra, the Joanina Library and the São Miguel Chapel. Explore the Moorish village, Rua Visconde da Luz, the Church of Santiago and the Monastery of Santa Cruz. Free time for shopping on Rua Visconde da Luz.
  • Night: Transfer to your starting point (bus, train or airport).
