The tour typically lasts around 9 hours, starting with an 8:30 AM pickup and concluding with a 5:30 PM drop-off.

Can I choose the type of vehicle for transportation?

We provide private luxury and transportation as part of the tour, operating with comfortable and modern vehicles, both mini-van and high-end cars/SUV. If you have specific preferences or requirements regarding the vehicle, please let us know in advance, and we will do our best to accommodate your needs.

Is the boat trip included in the standard private tour?

A boat trip is not included in the standard tour but can be added as an optional add-on. We recognize that while many guests cherish the experience of a Douro River boat trip, preferences vary. Some may opt to skip it, replace it with a vineyard visit, or simply enjoy more leisure time. To accommodate these diverse desires, we offer the flexibility to customize your tour. You can choose to include a traditional 1-hour rabelo boat cruise or opt for a private boat experience tailored exclusively for your group. This approach ensures your journey aligns perfectly with your interests, providing a personalized and memorable experience in the Douro Valley.

How do I book the optional add-ons?

Optional add-ons can be selected during the booking process or added up to 48 hours before the tour date, depending on availability. It’s recommended to book add-ons as early as possible to ensure your preferred options are available.

What is the cancellation policy for the tour?

Booking Policy: Confirmation and Payment: Full payment is required at the time of booking to confirm your reservation. – Cancellation and Refund Policy: a) Cancellations Made Up to 48 Hours Before the Tour Start Time: You may cancel your reservation up to 48 hours before the scheduled start time of the tour. In this case, you will receive a 100% refund of the amount paid. b) Cancellations Made Less Than 48 Hours Before the Tour Start Time or No-Show: If you cancel within 48 hours of the tour’s start time or fail to show up (“no-show”), no refund will be provided.
